I recently turned fifty, as I start this second phase of my life, I have 365 days this year to look at myself and to project myself into a new role. I want to do more, achieve more, impact more people’s lives, and become the change I want to see in the world.
Most people turning 50 think differently, they think of slowing down as they prepare to retire. They talk themselves into believing they aren’t strong enough to start life on a new path.
They look at the role and think it’s too big for them. They talk themselves into believing there’s no way they could be that person. That’s negative feedback.
Have you ever experienced that kind of negative feedback where you talked yourself into not doing something?
