All successful people write a scripted story of their lives. They document who they want to become. They say positive things about themselves;
“This is what I’m going to be, I want to take this new image of myself, I’m not going to look in the mirror and say, I’m fat, that I don’t look good. or I’m ugly, I’m going to look in the mirror and say I’m successful, I am beautiful, I have a loving spouse… I’m going to say these positive things about myself.”
They write a story about themselves and set out to live by that script.
What’s interesting is that the directors and scriptwriters in Hollywood don’t act in the movies. They call up people and tell them, ‘we want you to come and read a script, tell us how you can act in this scene.’
The actors who act the part have a little secret, when called to act in a role, they form a positive image of themselves doing it. They project themselves into the role and see themselves doing it.
That’s the opposite of what most of us do in life, we form a negative image and talk ourselves into believing we cannot do it.
